We started working with Oracle's database management system many years ago and it continues to meet and exceed our clients requirements when it comes to providing a flexible, scalable, reliable and robust database. Having this support for mission-critical applications, such as high volume online transaction processing, is vital to our clients growth.
To ensure we continue to deliver a secure and up to date platform, we also partner with DXC Technology - a leading end-to-end IT services business that helps support our Oracle databases. DXC runs quarterly database 'health checks’ for our clients which reviews and highlights any areas of concern. The health check focuses on database configuration, capacity, performance, objects, backup and recovery, releases and patching. If there are any issues, these are flagged in this report and resolved quickly.
As mentioned, DXC keeps us informed on the latest database releases so that we continue to provide the highest level of stability and long term support. Currently all of our clients are on 19C, which is the best performance for demanding analytical and operational workloads.
